During my time as a freelance writer, I spent a number of years promoting niche movies on the internet through my own website. This included doing interviews with directors and actors. I have decided that I want to do the same for indie authors. Let’s face it, unless you are a big name author you need all the publicity you can get.
I realize this is a small blog, especially since I have revamped it, that only gets around 2,500 views a month. However, I would still like the opportunity to conduct interviews in an effort to help you promote your work. Interviews will posted on the site and shared across my social media. I will provide you with the link to share as well.
If you are interested please fill out the Google form provided below. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me through any of my social media accounts or email using the contact form.
F.A.Q.
What is this going to cost me? Nothing. Totally free. I want to see indie authors succeed. There is so much talent out there that goes unrecognized. I get blog content and you get a promotional interview to share however you like, plus I will share it across my social networks (including LinkedIn) as well. It’s a win-win for both of us.
How does this work? I will email you a link to a private Google Document with interview questions. After much consideration I decided this would be the easiest way to do things. We don’t have to worry about scheduling a time for an interview, Google Docs means we don’t have to worry about who has what word processor program, and it will make it easiest to format for WordPress. I will send you the link to the published interview where you can share it however you wish. I will be promoting the interview on Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, and LinkedIn.
Does this go for children’s authors too? Yes, yes it does. Here’s a fun FYI. In one of my creative writing classes at university, we were tasked with writing a fairy tale. I chose to write a children’s fairy tale with a sea monster. My professor told me I should get it published and I’ve been slowing shopping it around. So yes, I’m all for children’s books.
